Reflection

I was always a curious girl since I was little and a very sick one too. Sometimes my curiosity would get me in trouble but I never thought it would lead to this. I’ve never been outside, not because of my sickness.  It's because of my face, I was "not normal" as my mom would say. I would always find the answer to everything I asked myself except one question. I wonder what was behind the door? I just had to do it, I had to go outside to say hi to the passing girls but when they saw me they screamed. It was a rainy day and I saw a puddle I looked down and saw my reflection for the first time ever.

The Author Mai loves to read, shop, and organize if she is not too busy with violin, fencing or homework. She would love to visit Dubai, London, Paris, Purto Rico, and Tokyo.
