Today we had a field trip to the police department. Everyone in my class wasn’t excited; they thought it was going to be boring learning about safety, until they came across a statue on their way there. We took a tour around the building and then it was question time before we moved on. “What’s the statue outside for, with the twisted gun?”

“That statue was made for the first head police officer. He died from a battle with his best friend. It was really twisted that he had to die like that, so that’s why the gun is twisted.”
