A Present From the Past

I just got back from school with exciting news to share with my family. In school, we’re doing a project about objects from the past that you enjoyed and I just know what to do. When I was little, I visited my grandparents a lot. I always loved visiting them, I would spend my day with Grandpa in his workshop and then I would come inside to have a little tea party in the backyard with my granny and her dog, Lulu. One day I found a mini doll house while I was exploring the attic searching for things we could fix up a little bit “ Gran Pa Pa, what’s this?” I asked him.

“Oh that’s your mother’s dollhouse when she was little,” he answered as he picked it up and went downstairs to show my grandma what we had found. Every time I went there, as a little kid, we would spend hours and hours working on it until dinner time. So it’s a very important piece of my past. Over the weekend we went to my grandparent’s house to ask if I could bring the house to my school for my project. Of course, they said yes and we spent the whole weekend there with them.
