A New Park
Today we went to the fundraiser for the new park, since the old park got destroyed by a hurricane. My school, Hamilton Middle School is fundraising for a new park and the whole town's going to be there, with a big surprise at the end. When my family and I got there, I had to go to meet with my class because we all have booths to run. We had little kids come and play the games until lunchtime when we all got a break to meet up with our families. At 5:00, it was time for the grand total and the big surprise, “ Today we have raised five thousand and fifty dollars and for a little surprise for this town, can everyone please get on a boat and sail out a little bit?” said the speakers. Boom! Boom! Fireworks.
