Once long ago there was a town, and they had the best fruits ever. But the question was which one there was the best. Three fruits were grown in town and they were strawberries oranges and apples. They were run by a goat, yack, and horse. One day a witch was in town for a vacation and heard that there are the best fruits in the world here. So she went to the supermarket. The three fruit sellers had an argument that turned into a food fight. The witch got her fancy broomstick all covered in fruits. So she cursed the three into stones and they lay there forever.

Summer Wish

I barely go outside during the summer, it’s a fact. My mom is too busy with work and I’m stuck inside. When I do go outside it’s like the best feeling ever, The hot air is filled with kids sweat and laughter. The cool air blows against my pale face as I look at kids around me. Then I go back inside And watch the window like it’s a television show that I can’t tear my face from the screen. Their tall long tan legs, It looks like the legs have been kissed by the sun gods as a blessing. Then, I look down at my tiny pale legs. I look at my reflection of myself out the window, Filled with disappointment and hate, I turn and stare at my book hard Wishing upon a star that I could go outside To the beach, pool, forest anywhere that has a Sun shining above me. But it's the middle of the day there is only one star out, And it's far from granting my wish. I think again, There's always next summer. (This is not a true story :)

The Gifts From The Trees

In a peaceful forest, there is a long forgotten tribe, the Wukutuka. Every year, the Wukutuka has a feast to celebrate what the gods have given them and how much the trees have granted the tribe. Every year the tradition is for the grateful chief to go into the woods to cut a piece of the oldest tree of the forest and add it to the Ball Of Wisdom. He says a prayer to God to ask for luck and more wisdom for the year. Then he takes his hand and places it on the ball to say thank you.
